Inequality in Gender
" A man of quality does not fear a woman seeking equality"
Guys, take a look at the quote that i stated above. Now, close your eyes and open, and answer the following carefully.
1)Do you get jealous if you girlfriend or any girls for that matter beats you in an examination ?
2)Do you feel uneasy if you and your ex-girlfriend broke up recently, but still remain in the same class as her?
3)Do you think that you ever feel uneasy if your girlfriend picks you up with her car from a
crowded place?
4)Are you happy with your financial standing as compared to your girlfriend?
In those ancient civilisations (these traditions still exist though), woman are a subject to a second-class treatment. They can never sit in front of their husband , and married off at a very young age- when they are supposed to obtain education and other values in life. On contarary note, the male counterparts enjoy a good status, excellent treatment and the most importantly-They have a good and sound educational background(It may also apply to better survival skill). Till today, the traces which is catalystised by the older generation are obvious. Woman could never be the lord of the family( In most cases i've seen, that is) and they are generally turned down by a guy if,say, she earns RM 10000 per month and the guy only earns up to RM 3000. Believe me when i say this, men would never change when it comes to this matter. The ego is way too big for us. W e called it the proud androcentrism.
But, things have changed dramatically. Some have even gone exceedingly forward than male themselves, outwitting them in field generally dominated by us i.e politics, business. Take Emma Goldman for example, a great female who revolutionised the importance of feminism. Take a look at her quote i still adore when i first read it at 16-Ask for work. If they do not give you work, ask for bread. If they do not give you work or bread, take bread. Of course, she was jailed for this in 1893. The point is, we have to learn to accept things about the opposite sex. Why do we view them as the one who is supposed to cook, clean and held the utmost responsibilty in the family unit? Perhaps we men should sit back and ponder, isn't it better if responsibilties are shared? Of course, women too should not be carried away by this. Some things are better if you do, like, cooking. I am no position to say this, but do you know that when you cook something for someone you love, it's just not the plain Beriyani or Chicken Curry, it's the pinch of LOVE in your cooking that makes it so special.
With that said, i say, let us don't misuse the Male authority-It's a bad idea you know, we would never know when these girls would poison the food they specially COOKED for us. Hahaha!!

DUDE! I love this topic. Gender (in)equality- My passion. Ahaha. The Male Chauvinist Pig.. ahh such a creation of befuddlement and ignominy. But let us all not sink to mindless stereotyping la shall we. Generally.
Do not feel pity for us women Navindran.. its becoming more of a woman's world nowadays and i daresay men have to huff n puff to keep up. America and its insane legal tangles are proof enough. Odd sexual harassment cases, glass ceiling accuses.. the glass ceiling crashed, if not wholly all around the world, it is slowly crashing from country to country. Go, women! Ahahaha.
But I'm sure you have heard of the opposite scenario, male oppression due to feminist sensitivites. Goes to show that anything in extremities is plain bad.
Haih. At this point this is what I have to say. Got more, but have to bathe, dress n go to the temple. Lol.
P/S: Your questions.. question 2 seems so damn familiar.. LOL
